20 kWp solar PV system for a social housing building

20 kWp three-phase system with 40 500 W modules serving a social housing residential complex.

Impianto fotovoltaico 20 kWp per edificio di social housing | Imprese Bagnone

Installation of a 20 kWp three-phase solar PV system serving a social housing building in La Spezia, consisting of 40 Trina Solar 500 W modules installed on a tiled roof using a certified Würth mounting system, with dedicated hooks that preserve the integrity and weatherproofing of the roof covering.

Power conversion is handled by a 20 kW three-phase inverter, with weatherproof field and parallel switchboards and complete protection on both sides of the system: surge protection devices on the DC and grid sides, isolation and string protection with dedicated fuses. Since the system has a rated power above 11.08 kW, an external interface protection system with a CEI 0-21 certified relay was installed, as required by regulations for grid connection. Roof work was carried out using perimeter scaffolding and fall-protection systems, in full compliance with construction site safety regulations. The project was completed with management of the entire grid connection procedure and commissioning.

Clean energy supporting social housing: a system sized to reduce the residential complex’s energy costs, installed in full compliance with current regulations.
