Is providing data mandatory?

Providing your data is always optional, but failure to provide it could make it impossible to proceed with some processing, such as that strictly connected to fulfilling a contract or providing the services you requested.

Location and methods of processing

The processing of your personal data is carried out through the operations indicated in Art. 4 no. 2) of the GDPR, specifically: collection, registration, organization, storage, consultation, processing, modification, selection, extraction, comparison, use, interconnection, communication, deletion, and destruction of data.

Your personal data are stored at the Controller’s premises and are processed both in paper and electronic and/or automated formats, with logic strictly related to the purposes indicated and in any case in a way that guarantees the security and confidentiality of the data.

The retention periods for each purpose are indicated in point 2 above.

Your data may be made accessible for the purposes indicated in point 2:

  • to employees and collaborators of the Controller, in their capacity as persons in charge and/or internal data processors and/or system administrators;
  • to third-party companies or other entities (website providers, cloud providers, e-payment service providers, suppliers, hardware and software assistance technicians, shippers and carriers, credit institutions, professional firms, etc.) that perform outsourced activities on behalf of the Controller, in their capacity as data processors.

Disclosure and transfer of data

Data will not be disseminated, sold, or exchanged with entities other than the Controller, the processors, and the appointed personnel without your express and explicit consent.

Your data are generally processed within the European Union. Should some providers (for example cloud or email service providers) involve a transfer of data to third countries outside the European Economic Area, the Controller ensures that such transfer takes place in compliance with Art. 44 et seq. of the GDPR, on the basis of an adequacy decision by the European Commission or appropriate safeguards (for example the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission). You may request a copy of the safeguards adopted by contacting the Controller.

You have the right to know what personal data are being processed. In particular, you are entitled to the right of access, rectification, and erasure, as well as the right to data portability, the right to restriction of processing, and the right to object to the processing, where the conditions are met.
