Installation of a 5 kWp solar PV system with battery storage on a private home in the Belvedere area of Sarzana. The high-efficiency modules were installed on a traditional tiled roof using a certified mounting structure with dedicated hooks that preserve the integrity and weatherproofing of the roof covering – an aspect that requires particular care on traditional roofs.
At the heart of the system is a hybrid inverter paired with a 5 kWh storage battery: surplus energy produced during the day is stored and released in the evening, when household consumption is higher, increasing self-consumption well beyond that of a traditional system. The system is completed by DC-side and grid-side protection devices and energy flow monitoring accessible via an app: production, storage, consumption and exchange with the grid are always under control. As always, we handled the entire grid connection process through to commissioning.
